Core Courses

There are three core courses that need to be completed by the end of year 4 of the primary degree.  


Year 2

  • Foundations of Simulation Practices


Year 3

  • Foundations of Simulation Scholarship and Research


Year 4

  • Advanced Topics in Simulation Practice

Elective Courses

Each student is required to complete a total of 4 elective courses from the list below. As the minor is highly individualized, it is recommended that the students contact the  STEP minor coordinator to develop their course pathways.

Year 3

Year 4

Practicum

  • In years 2 and 3 of the STEPS minor, all students must complete 36 hours of hands-on practicum/placement. 
  • Opportunities will be provided to work with our existing partners.
  • Self-initiated placements must be approved by the STEPS-minor coordinator.
